Dr. Michael Oakes
Owner & Dentist
Dr. Michael Oakes is committed to continuing the patient-driven focus of Vitality Dental. Dr. Oakes is a servant-hearted individual who genuinely cares about the entire patient experience throughout every aspect of our practice.
Dr. Oakes attended the University of Tennessee for his undergraduate education and received his DDS from the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 2003.
When he’s not at the office, Dr. Oakes loves spending time with his two sons, Austin and Hudson. Dr. Oakes is an avid golfer and Tennessee Volunteers football fan. He might be a dentist by trade, but Dr. Oakes is a chef at heart.
Dr. Tyler Holmes
Owner & Dentist
Dr. Tyler Holmes has been passionate about dentistry since a young age when his own general dentist and orthodontist helped him achieve his ideal smile. From the inspiration, he went on to attend the University of Tennessee for his undergraduate and received his DMD from the University of Louisville in 2015.
He previously worked for Aspen Dental for two years and we are honored to have him as a part of the Vitality Dental family. Dr. Holmes loves learning about the latest and greatest technologies and advancements in dentistry and is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), American Dentistry Association (ADA) and Tennessee Dental Academy (TDA).
Outside of the practice, you’ll find him cheering on the Vols during football season, playing tennis or golf, attending concerts and hanging out with his friends and his two dogs.
